All In A Month.

January 2009 was a toughest month of the life time..... my life time!! Why? Probably you know it..... but let me reiterate it for you. After USA recession it is engulfing Canada too. Many Oil & Gas companies started Lay-Offs. I also got laid off.
I used to hear about lay offs in USA. The figures were in thousands. Reading news, never gave a feeling.... how it is. Being in the soup.... I felt the heat.
The good thing is that lot of friends came forward and extended helping hand to find alternate job or to suggest alternate ways of income etc. Whether things are working or not.... important thing is, having a helping hand at difficult time.
Thanks to all for your continued support.

Hey Abhi.....Dont worry...as they say in the movies "Achhe logon ke saath achha hi hotaa hai" things will come back on track. Just remember one thing...Tough times never last tough people do....

A person like you with such friendships and such a lovely life...you need to say "Sochna kya....jo bhi hogaa dekhaa jaayega..."

Helo 'Anonymous Movie buff',
Thanks for your good words and encouragement. Yes Tough things never last; tough people do.

I will survive and so do all my friend who are sailing in the same boat.

Mr. (or Mrs?? or Miss???) 'Anonymous Movie buff', you kept me guessing who you are? I guessed 3-4 names and I am sure you are amomst those names only.

I believe, when one is not commenting anything odd then he/ she should not hesitate to disclose the identity. Well I guess this is your favourite passtime. So enjoy being 'Anonymous Movie buff'!!

Thanks for leaving it on me and your trust in my decision not to...

When skilled workers like you get hit...i wonder who is under the safe parachute now? aS for me I am already feeling the pinch.SInce the last two months we are operating at break even and that also when we really burn ourselves out.

Guess have to sell the house, get rid of the cars, all gadgets and start finding some recession proof livelihood....i wonder what it's gonna be...may be go for my studies on government funds and come out of that safe cocoon once these harsh weathers are gone...but thats me...a lousie self - pessimistic trotter.

Hmmmm.....

I do not know your background and where you are located... and it is making me difficult to reply back and discuss or suggest things.

Of course everyone has different equations in life and different mind set up. Your safe mode (cocoon)idea is really worth and utilizing time for skill improvement is also appreciable.

I am still struggling to find my way out... since there are more than one options open for me and do not really know where to go! For sure time will tell where I am standing.

I have good group of Friends besides me and we are trying to conclude a way out..... every one might have his/ her own way finally, depending on everybody's 'equations'!!

Well..... let's see!!

Hello Ashi,
Long time no see!! You must be busy with your spouse and your kid. Why not.. after all you are meeting them after a long time. Sure they had lot of good time in India. And your kid must have learned many words by now. And it must be interesting for you to talk to her.

Online must be doing fine. Are you not in office since yesterday? Or yesterday you took off to receive your Spouse and Kid? Well, see you again on my Blog.
