Modernization.

Our office recently shifted to a brand new building. We liked the new building very much. Lot of things are 'automatic' there. I mean wash basin water taps starts when you take your hand closer..... oh yes it is very very common....... urinals flush automatically when you gets away...... ammmm that is again a common feature........ toilets...... same thing........... soap dispenser? paper towel dispenser?? Automatic..... now that is added one ha. Many other common features like door card reader..... oh yes air conditioning and no open 'windows'. Well, why I am telling you all this?? .........

A day before, unusually, we had a power failure. And now you know what must have happened. Washroom Tap water, soap, paper towel, urinals, toilets will not flush/ dispense automatically. Doors did not operate (they can be opened from inside.... thank god). Air conditioning??? Sure it must have stopped... and we do not have windows to open.................................. We were instructed to leave the office after about 30-45 minutes.

Well, this is just to bring to your notice where we are going. How much we are getting used to the automation and what we can expect in future!!
