Sure, we all enjoyed the Year End Celebration here in Calgary. Total 34 families were assembled at Willow Park Community Centre on 27th Dec 2008. On behalf of Organising Committee, we, AbhiShilpa, are posting the Slide Show of the event below. We need your valuable feed back about the event and any suggestions for future events from you. The party was very well organised. The MC's were good and did a god job. Food was gr8 and so were the different items presented by everybody. The game show ideas were unique and we all had lot of fun.
I'm sure all the hard work and planning which went in for the past 3 months paid off. Hats off to yr team. Keep up the good work and thanks to everybody who worked hard to put up the whole show and make the party a memorable event for a lifetime.

The event was professional and well organised.Children were fantastic and hats off to elders for their enthusiastic performances. A special mention for Kishore and Shilpa who were excellent as hosts.Food was delicious. Decoration was nice and the music was very good.All in all it was a memorable event which certainly exceeded our expectations.
We appreciate all the effort and time spent by those who organized this wonderful event.
Wishing everyone a Happy 2009 and looking forward to meet you all often throughout the year.

The party was full of ‘Dhamal’. We really enjoyed all performances. Specially ‘Dola re Dola’ by young girls, Dil chahata hai by gents group & colourful Garba.
Food was delicious & very well organized. Good work Mr. Panda. Everything went so smooth.
I really enjoyed comparing. Hats off to Shilpa & Kishor. I like the welcome speech by Shilpa. Her voice is crystal clear. The idea was innovative & executed very well.

It was good change for everyone. Some time off from all tensions & worries. Good efforts choreographers & Kids. Roopen & Asha were fabulous. Everyone was so involved to make this event successful. Special thanks to Kishore & Shilpa for hosting this event. I enjoyed your shero- shayari & Shilpa’s Mumbai ya style to introduce Munnabhai group.
Food was good. All ladies must be happy to get time off from kitchen.
Good efforts organizing team! Hats off to you!
Suggestions:-
1) Is there any way to control budget? I personally feel that contribution is on higher side.
2) Some solo performances were not up to the mark. I really appreciate your courage. If you practice more then you will definitely perform better. So take care next time to enjoy attention of audience.

The party was fantabulous.Everything was very professional and exceeded the expectations.The food was delicious.The performances were great,all the dances especially dola re dola,you are my love,the big boys and of course Woh ladki hai kahan were excellent...but i would request the singers to practise more before coming on stage next time....very well done Roopen..we wish you would arrange more of these type of gatherings...your daughter is very talented....a very happy new year to all.....

Thanks for appreciating our work. It's a great encouragement for both of us. I believe that there is always some scope for improvement & I assure you, next year we will come up with more fun.
I would like to thank you all who helped make this event successful. It was quite evident that you all put in a lot of hard work into making the evening as enjoyable as possible for those attending.
Special Thanks for all participants. We (AbhiShilpa) both really enjoyed the party.

The slide show was fantastic and we felt that re attended the program. Coming to the program, that was well organized even better than any projects we are doing. Kudos to all the team.
Personally i couldn't help you and your team, but surely next time we will be with you.

i simply loved it .....thanks a lot :)..............shila and abhijeet.....shilpa and kishore were great as hosts .......but i have a question y didn't you guys called the choreographer of 'dola re dola' as it was the best dance........and later i find out it was choreographed by someone called neha .....i just want to say hats off to her.........she was way good in solo performance as well......and after her the best dancer was sakshi - her solo was really nice..............just wanted to say....that someone heer wrote that the solo performance was not up to the mark.....so i just wanted to say that those kid did there best and as they did without any practice i would like to say it was fab. and if you didn't like it , you should show us your solo performance.....then we wouls decide who is good or not..........

Ya, totally agree with you. the performances were good without practice but please think that if everybody start dancing or singing without practice then it will be a chaos. Those who really want to dance without practice then there was an open floor dance where one can show his /her talent. Take this as encouragement & practice more next year.

The party was very well planned. My family enjoyed and had a gala time. We would definitely love to be part of such functions and help more next time. For those of you who have commented on solo performances not being up to the mark or singers needing more practice - have you ever tried shaking a leg or singing to the tunes without practice and being so good? We were mesmerised by Neha's hip hop and graceful dances from Shakshi and Trusha. Even the singers were good. The performances seemed more like from
professionals than from amateurs. Do you even know how much time, effort and practice these kids must have put in for the show. We were all there to enjoy and not point fingers.It is easy to sit back and comment. If you think you are good come forth and perform rather than commenting and discouraging the young talent and putting them down.
I would like to wish everybody a very happy and prosperous new year. I would also like to thank the organisers for putting up a very good function.
Kudos to the person who made the above comment. I fully agree as i see people contradicting themselves by saying " everything was very professional and exceeded our expectations" and then going on to say " singers need to practise more ".
